Gift card judge censured

That’s the title of my Slaw post for today.  It reads:

  1. The settlement actually called for the lawyer to get $125,000 rather than $175,000. I wonder if the attorney was a man or woman? I can see how the answer to that question would render the judge’s decision improper either way considering it was gift cards from a woman’s apparel store.
